Support and Engineer are the best classes. Support more for making your health regen with the supply bag. Engineer for taking out vehicles. Assault is only good for respawn beacon to flank with a suppressed weapon. You'll be too low level to do that right now.
If you pick support and want to defib someone charge it up until you hear a beep. This will revive someone with 100% hp instead of 50%. That's if you have time. Also check if a person can be revived because dudes will ask for a res infront of 3 enemies. You can use your smokes for cover, escape, or pushing.
Try to unlock the M4A1 and level it up until you can use the DRS IAR. You can stay with the M4A1, use the DRS, or use; QZB, NVO assault rifle, KTS LMG, Kord, PW5A3, SGX, SCW-10, or TR-7. IMO the drs is good to use at all ranges and easy to use.
For the DRS IAR the attachments you want are(these are normally the best for all weapons ive seen so far):
Whatever sight works for you
Heavy extended Barrel
Lightened suppressor. Use regular when you unlock it. Before that use linear converter or compenstater.
Underbarrel use folding stock at first then one of the angled ones.
Use 30 fast mag for the clip
Red then green laser on top
You can use a light on the side but I don't like them. They help with hip fire recovery so your bullet spread goes back down faster.

At longer ranges, tap fire instead of holding down fully auto.
You might be tempted to use a longer scope on an AR/Carbine/LMG, just remember that the higher the magnification, the higher the perceived recoil. It's easier to fire full auto on a 1x than a 4x.
Hollow Point and Synthetic Tip rounds are borderline useless on lower damage weapons.
When you die, please do not immediately respawn. The hud will tell you if there are medics and/or squad mates that can revive you nearby and how far away they are. Give them a second to get to you so they can revive you, as your team doesn't lose a ticket for that death until you respawn. At the same time, if you got 6 nikkas by you, don't ask for a revive and let your medic run I to a shyt show and die. Now y'all down two tickets instead of one.

It's definitely floaty hard to line up a standing still nik sometimes
The update messed up some of the other settings in the game. A lot of streamers been complaining about it on social media.

Dv12 quite possibly the worst shotgun ever made in franchise history. They gotta boost these semi autos. Sh1t doesn't even do its advertised damage.

Thought I was trippin. Took a break to finish Yotei the last two weeks and finally played again this morning some. WTFIt's definitely floaty hard to line up a standing still nik sometimes
