The Chinese are very humble people that realize they shouldn't chase wafterfalls like Lonzo they shouls stick to the role players that they are used to.

They didn't turn down BBB they gracefully bowed out.

They not gonna get the deal they want until Lonzo starts playing in the league. Once Nike/UA/Adidas turned them down I figured they wouldnt get a deal until Lonzo establishes himself. Summer league is cool but Chinese companies aren't retarded, they know the game and they're aware sumer league dont mean shyt long term.

If BBB is gonna get the deal they want its contingent of Lonzo becoming a star on the Lakers. Also on the other kids making the league. But if Lonzo gets ROY they'll be in much stronger position.

BBB also should think about engaging with companies that aren't already in the basketball business heavy like that. I think Lavar mentioned that before, but you look at this Chinese company , they have traditional deals with stars in the NBA. No reason to give BBB what they want, they working from the same position Nike/UA/Adidas are.

If they want a untraditional deal they might need to roll with an untraditional company.

Time will tell though. Its too early. Ball kids, Lonzo especially still has a lot to prove to show his worth.

yeah but if they're gonna get some unprecedented licensing deal that they're looking for, companies are going to have to know for sure about Lonzo and possibly the other brothers.

and it won't be from Nike either. I dont think any of the traditional US companies will do it. I can see a Chinese company biting eventually.
