I'm not anti contraception. I'm not anti abortion . I just think people getting abortions because they think they can't afford a child is stupid . A woman will get an abortion because the man leaves . A man will ask a woman to get an abortion so his wife don't get mad . All types of dumb shyt. I think there are all types of reasons for an abortion , but the majority of the reasons are stupid.
getting an abortion because you KNOW (not think) you can't sustain that child's life is a perfectly good reason. watching a HUMAN suffer from birth until they eventually die before 5 is an even worse fate than tissue getting sucked out. no child who dies from malnutrition before 5 has had even one good day out of 1800.

it does and do you see the screenshot in the original post and the name of the conference? this lady that is being congratulated in the thread is basically saying fukk contraception the ordinary african woman who can't afford to be educated in the west and get to travel to africa on occasion like her doesn't care about access to contraception, they want food and water. hmmm maybe with proper family planning you won't be begging the same colonizers for food and water. give a man a fish, teach a man to fish and all that.

abortion should be a last resort, but still her right. if things are done correctly only the people who want babies would be having them.

Wow. Everyone is in a bit of a circle jerk in this thread. Contraception is a basic right, but isn’t being able to eat a right as well?

If you don’t consider eating a basic right then what exactly are our priorities?

You have Africans starving from drought and famine after their land has been raped and pillaged by Europe and we are handing them condoms and IUDs?

The situation is dire enough that basic needs need to be prioritised. Food and water, education then contraception comes down the line. Stop putting the cart before the horse.
Abortion and contraception isn’t stopping the famine.

What African countries are currently suffering from a famine?

And you don't see the connection between overpopulation and food shortages?

Why are there people against contraception?

Why would someone not religious be against condoms and birth control?

What's their argument based on exactly? Free love? They want to ruin the world for future generations?

First off, I said, "non-Christian", not "non-religious". Tons of people of all sorts of different religions are against birth control.

But there are even non-religious people against birth control, because they think that birth control interferes with the body's natural processes.

Other people think birth control is a ploy to keep their own people's numbers down.

I'm not saying I agree with them - I think smaller families are a good thing. But you certainly can't blame Christians for this - there's nothing anti-birth control anywhere in the Bible. The anti-birth control arguments that some Christians use are common to many other people too.
