I liked it and some people in the comments dropped some details too about the kingdom that were informative as well. What I didn't like though was how he was so dramatic about stating that..
"yes, the ashanti sold slaves:scheme: (so yes white people you can now troll with this abstract statement :troll:)"
But its like a guy said in the comments said: the British themselves captured slaves too, they raided villages to capture slaves, even though some indigenous people sold slaves to them.

The Ashanti Empire was 1 of 4 of what were called forest kingdoms that had a trade agreement with Europeans to trade sell Hebrew tribes into slavery. The other 3 Empires forest kingdoms were Dahomey, Oyo and Benin. The slave trade lasted hundreds of years and people still believe the lie that those empires were selling their own people to the Europeans which cannot be further from the truth.
