Two parts black pepper, one part salt and one part Lawry’s. Simple but effective.

The Weird Side
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup paprika,1 tablespoon chili powder ,1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder,1 tablespoon salt, 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
This is the most basic rub recipe but works on anything from chicken to burgers. Add cayenne if you want a touch of heat.

exactly this, but I add a little cocoa powder and instant coffee. can’t vouch for that on pork ribs
