The entire third quarter, they scored 4 points that he didn’t create off the pass or shot. They didn’t score any points he didn’t contribute on in the fourth quarter until there was a minute left. He contributed on all but 7 of their points they scored in the second half. At some point the rest of the team needed to raise their level of play, and that just didn’t happen.

Even if he’s on the team and healthy, the coaching staff needs to design an offense. There’s only so far a team can go when the playbook is about as deep as the books we all had to write and draw pictures for in elementary school. Even when it wasn’t LeBron handling the ball, it wasn’t much more than high pick and roll at the top of the arc while 3 guys stand and watch. Nobody moving or trying to do anything off the ball. For most of the fourth quarter, I don’t think I saw any of their players even step inside the arc if they didn’t have the ball. It felt like watching a heat game in the second half there was so little ball movement.

We all know they're better than that (J.R. had multiple double-digit scoring games on high shooting percentages in the last series), the problem is, the system doesn't utilize their abilities enough, which is one of the main reasons why they're inconsistent.
