I'm a HUGE Killer Mike Fan...but the RTJ hype never really connected with me outside of some songs here and there.

I'm kinda upset Mike is devoting so much of his creative output to something that while putting money in his pocket, isn't really sounding like the real Mike Render from Adamsville.

Hopefully we get some solo shyt from him in the near future...:mjcry:

This is FIRE :ohlawd:

I would like it 10x more if it was just Killer Mike on the mic

El-P is unbelievably corny on the mic, and that's counting the fact he improved a lot from the first to second RTJ album

Hell yea.

Dope beats, dope lyrics, nice deliveries and flows and excellent chemistry. No filler on either album too. They haven't made a wack song together yet. Plus they obviously respect the culture.

There's really nothing to hate. People who aren't feeling El-P just need to listen a bit closer.

I don't HATE them...i'm just not IN LOVE with them either.

They definitely have a niche that loves it...but me knowing Killer Mike since his first songs with Outkast...:ld:

yup, although i do tend to forget about the albums because i need to be in a certain mood to play them.
i have a soft spot for El-P's off the wall pop culture ramblings too even if he is draining at times.

edit-you two fanooks need to have your own thread to argue about Drake in and keep it there.
nobody wants to read yous two going back and forth about performing queer acts on somebody not relevant to the topic at hand.

So do I. Akshon and A.D.I.D.A.S were my shyt back in '03. Still remember the commercial with him rapping alone with the white background promoting his Monster album. I wasn't too sure on the El-P thing either till R.A.P Music came out. Album singlehandedly altered my tastes in rap.
