They signed up for whatever comes with the job breh. I never wanted to go to war so I never signed up for the military. You have to consider all aspects of a job, good and bad.

Breh, I didn't sign up to drive in a pandemic. Also, if there isn't a phased reactivation of the economy those people teleworking will be laid off.

The Coli loves Capitalism, well, here it is. It's in ICU on a ventilator and the oxygen being pumped in are your lives. Good luck. I guess y'all only thought "low skilled workers" would be sacrificed.

One of two things will happen; all non essentials still holding on to their jobs will be recalled to work and the disease spikes won't be as bad as predicted or the virus will run through the workforce and the chips will fall where they may while the media focuses on the "humanitarian crisis" in the black and brown countries.

Playtime is over guys, even the responsible states and countries have to feed the beast that is Capitalism. The states can't handle 22 million UI claims and the Government barely passed the last stimulus, they aren't bailing out the states UI when some of them were seething about UI come ups while debating the last bill. The fix was in when "America's Dad" Governor Cuomo said "the worst is over" on a day where 800 died in the state.

I look at all these deaths and it's a tragedy but I still think this was an outsized and botched response but was sadly the only option. But you throw a nation of 330 million people into what is basically time out with no exit strategy and poor leadership and this is what happens. More people are going to die anyway. Godspeed.

You should understand that your job can be taken away from you at the drop of a dime with no recourse and 100% out of your control. The same can be applied to how and where you do your job. I didn't mention skill level particularly, this is a holistic discussion. Every time you get a job, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not consider all ramifications around it. A two dollar raise from your previous job does not necessarily mean that the grass is greener on the other side. How much does it take to maintain that grass on the other side is the question you should explore and ask yourself before you take a new position. I am not looking at this from the perspective of capitalism. I'm an advocate for staying home till this gets done right. However, in the case of something like this, what is going to almost always be open. Things of supreme need. Grocery stores for food, gas for transportation, medical facilities for care. That's a given. Now, you might not be thinking about this when looking for a new job but that's on you. No one forced these people to accept the jobs that they have. As a person that originally followed his folks into Ford Motor Company, saw layoffs and ultimately left a few years after to pursue college. I had two goals in mind, what can pay me well and what could I do that somewhat insulate me in a time like this. I'm a controller (accountant). No job is fool proof but nearly every company still needs people that can be trusted to deal with the money and it can be done from home. I decided to play the long game that way. That's not to say that I'm safe for the duration but for the time being, because I thought about the future and this occupation, I'm fortunate to be in the position that I'm in now. Working from home and still being effective. None of this is to say I view myself as working in a better position than others or any other type of negative connotation. What I am saying is, we all put in an honest day's work but the nature of your job may require a person to be placed in different situations when anomalies like this arise.

Lets not even sugarcode it anymore....:beli:

For some people its sink or swim out here...

Everyone is in a different position in life...

Someone who works from home dont know the temperature of someone who got laid off and has lil job security as is...

Your job might not be there in 2022 if you fukk around:ld:

Does it matter that I work in Hospice and people dying is my job? :ld:

Da truth of da matter is, da way of life that most knew is done and as a result, due to that fact, to gain any semblance of normalcy, many are willing to put themselves and others at risk (including their so called friends and loved ones) to gain even a slither of that. This is da new normal and due to entitlement or otherwise, many aren't willing to yet accept that as a fact, unable or unwilling to adapt. Tying their value and self worth to productivity or monetary value. Despite da complaints of being oppressed, many are and were quite in love with da world around them, a world that those same capitalists, corporatists & colonialists created for them as to make them feel as though their lives matter. Refusing to accept this as a new reality and thus, willing to fight tooth and nail to maintain a system or structure that never had them in mind in da first place. Also factor in da desperation for social interaction & here we are, folks are essentially in a rush to go to da slaughterhouse.

Staying inside the house for lockdown isn't a way to live at all. Numerous governors are seeing it that way and willing to take that chance....

It’s embarrassing the amount of grown Black men I’ve seen whining about not being able to get a haircut.

Women aren’t even crying about their hair and nails at this rate.

If you can’t cut your own hair. Or still get money and p*ssy with a fukked up hairline. Then you ain’t a man.

fukk y’all all crying about?

:camby:
Can’t post pictures on social media without a cut

Apr 2020: "Be Honest... Do you want the country opened back up ASAP?"

:patrice:
:coffee:“You cant hide forever” or some dumb shyt. If only this shyt effected those who pay it no mind, I would be all for it. Unfortunately a bunch of innocents are going to deal with every variant under the sun courtesy of antivax folks.
