I've had to cut off two friends for supporting Trump. Seriously...they are fukking dead to me. And I was friends with them for 10 and 20 years. and one of them revealed themselves to be a huge Trump supporting racist who got my Twitter account suspended out of jealous, hate, bitterness, resentment, called me a bytch ass n*gger on Instagram, pretended to be a KKK member on Twitter, harassed me from over 65+ troll accounts, sent me texts claiming that "the alt right was watching me"...attempted to extort me and my family...like I watched this guy get redpilled and completely go insane and turn into a fukking nazi....that's why I'll never respect anybody that voted for or supports that protofascist Trump...cause I've seen Trumpism destroy people I've known in real life.

Yes and no, it's honestly been very difficult to keep the standard of "purity" that I want, but that is probably overly idealistic. I stopped seeing someone, even casually, because she was a full on (African) Trump style Republican, and I was also seeing a DACA/dreamer, and I just couldn't reconcile the two, when my heart was breaking for the latter, and the former is preaching that there is no alternative to deportation and hard line immigration policies.

My Dad's friends are Republicans and I have seen them at family gatherings, and conversed, enjoyed myself, while knowing the vile beliefs that they held. I have friends whose parents I have known and liked for 20 years, and see them too, and "have" to shake hands and hug and it's hard because I like these people, and I grew up with them, in their houses, eating from their pantries, it's a hard thing to process.

I saw that happen to a lot of people during the W years too. It’s depressing.

it's easy to understand to me. It's the "i like you" but , "i dont like yall" effect.

you can be a racist white guys roomate in college and yall end up getting closer as friends just due to the close proximity all the time. He can easily be the white guy that hooks you up with jobs that you would've never received as a black man. but you know and he knows, he is racist towards any other black person. he gives you a pass not because you're black but because you're his friend. thats it.
a lot of racist white people loved Robert Parish from the Celitcs back when boston was beyond racist. and big chief was a black as they came. they still loved him. Why? he was a star player on their favorite team.

Yes, yet what's complicated is my feelings toward them.

All the trump voters I know (rich older white clients) regret their choice....

I guess I give them a temporary pass until 2020 then I'm gonna be on they ass if they still on fukkshyt
i think there's gonna be a lot of "come around" and ":snoop:" trump voters who turn democrat in 2020. plus theres a ton of voters like me who fukked around and voted third party in 2016 that are gonna smarten up and just vote for whoever the dem is (:lolbron:)

2016 was seen as a joke election, and the dems ran a historically bad candidate. as long as the dems dont run a complete commie, i can see trump bleeding a lot of support. he has done, and can do, nothing to gain supporters at this point. the economy cant get any better, theres no tax cuts coming. he just has a year and a half to stay neutral or become even worse :dead:

They are lying. If anything they are doubling down and want the cover.

It's a mad dash to keep their futures secured.

Don't be fooled.

I think we might see a rise of the Neo Dixiecrats before long.

The abortion wedge is already being pushed in Bama, GA, and Missouri.

On the topic, I had to cut off a good friend of mine. She is Cambodian and a great parent and friend and one day talking politics....she put her foot in her mouth... supporting 45's immigration policy like a fool....bytch you're Asian....be Asian.

Plus she has a Black daughter.

Fools.

My co workers are most anti Trump but I noticed the upper level execs at my job are HEAVY Republicans... but I gotta play the game :yeshrug:
