Be honest, would you buy GTA6 for $100?

I’m an outsider, not a gamer like that but the title caught my eye.

Some of yall are delusional. I’ve never played GTA in my life yet I’ve been hearing about it for years. It’s surpassed just being a game, it’s a cultural symbol. So they can legitimately charge whatever they want and mfers gon cop. On top of the fact they made folk wait 10+ years so now you know it’s covering you for years. $100 would be doing you a favor.

The fact that they made us wait 10+ years is reason enough for them to NOT charge us $100. They treating us the same way those OF hoes treat simps

There's a handful of games that I would cop day one, no questions asked, and GTA 6 just happens to be one of them.

im honestly anticipating this new one to be a polished updated version of V ... which while enjoyable enough it was mid asf

GTA 5 was a good game but it certainly wasn't game of the generation level shyt. It was largely just another GTA game that i forgot about after a couple of months. Nothing mindblowing or particularly innovative or unique about it. It was just a well made open world crime game.

The thing that gave that game legs was the online but they're already making money hand over fist on that due to micro transactions and in game purchases. They don't need to be charging $100 for that.

I swear the way GTA has a hold over some people but then when you actually look at the track record of that series, and i wonder why.

Nah, I'd wait. Honestly haven't really enjoyed GTA since San Andreas/vice city. I feel the more realistic it got the more boring it became. GTA 5 wasn't fun to me.

I've heard similar things when comparing Red dead redemption vs RDR2

The online "value" should not be lumped into the base game price, they'll have infinite microtransactions for that.

And honestly, 5's story/gameplay was not even THAT good to be putting Rockstar on a pedestal like this, where they can just charge whatever they want.

I'll most likely play through the story day one, maybe check out online briefly then move down my game list The RP crowd can have a ball and spend their thousands for a decade, leave my wallet out of it lol

Let's also keep in mind they're intentionally staggering the PC release once again so people will double dip.

I'd wait for a little bit to see how everyone feels about the game before buying it.

Game needs to include elements of Hitman (more creative ways to kill enemies/targets) plus Elder Scrolls (being able to enter virtually every building or home). It's gotta be more than just a graphics upgrade.
