why people hate the trap sound...
them sh1tds be fire..sometimes lol
People didn't seem too off put by it at first (as a matter of fact, i think it was welcomed - what Tip ushered in a decade ago was finessed by Ross back in 2010).
but over the course of the past few years, it's over saturation tainted its position.
I still think its fine in moderation (the bass and snares are undeniable if done right, a la Drumma, Lex and Michael William).
In this case, incorporating it as an intro was a great idea - but the beat was so infectious and such a breath of fresh air (albeit, a surprise nonetheless) in an album with such a vast smorgasbord of delectably scrumptious highly stylized auralisms (a la the producerial wizardry by the industry's heaviest hitters), we all yearned for it to be a tad longer (or even more admirable, an entire track would have been fulfilling).
Mike Will Made It.
Jay Z stunted it.
Our minds just have to accept it...
... and pray for a remix.
