It's either me or it seems like every week somebody from The ROC...Dame, Beans, Bleek, Just Blaze, Cam, a dude from State Property...pretty much anybody not named Kanye or Jay is doing an interview talking about the breakup.
Move on already. The fans are over it. Nobody gives a fukk about The Roc breakup in 2016.

Hell, next week they'll be interviewing the janitor from the office trying to get his perspective on what happened.

True. Have people thinking Rocafella was like Death Row or some shyt. Nah, not even that big of an impact. They had talented cats but
theres definitely alot more crews & clicks i'll take over Rocafella. I like Beans shyt, like Jay-Zs shyt, some of State Property, some of Bleek but ask
and nikkas make it seem like they were on that level.

I think people are using Jay-Z's today fame & relevance to re-write that story, just like 2pac & Biggie stans re-write alot of history once they died.

Word. Aside from Jay, Kanye, and Cam none of the artists on The Roc had fanbases outside of the East and were barely selling Gold.

You hit the nail on the head, Jay-Z's fame and revisionist history are clouding people's perception.

when I moved down south, people were always showing me their state property cds. ive seen a lot more of that than Kanye west stuff. ive probably seen more RETAIL copies of state property albums down south than ive seen in Philadelphia. lol. maybe not but you get the point.

just because an artist isn't platinum or all on television, it doesn't necessarily mean that theyre regional.

and lets not act as if death row had an extensive amount of artists that were poppin. it was really just dre, snoop & dogg pound with 1 album apiece. and two 2pac albums in '96.

Well shyt at this point that's all they have to offer. An "inside" look to the breakup of the ROC. Just looking at how fast and far south Jay and Dames relationship went just doesn't make sense without some kind of betrayal (i.e. Someone fukking someone's bytch...maybe Aaliyah, or someone stealing). So people still want to know what the fukk happened...what don't we know?

shyt if u sat down with Neef Buck or pretty much any of them SP nikkas, u gonna ask about new music?? Future projects??

I'm just trying to figure out what death row has to do with this, cuz its not like rocafella & death row were poppin at the same time.:heh:

death row was on top for their time.
rocafella was on top for their time.

no the fans are not over it. just look at this board. people still talk about the rocafella breakup like it happened yesterday.

jay & Kanye are at a certain status where they can tell you up front what they don't want to be asked before the cameras start rolling. they don't even do interviews for these dvds and rap websites. they do interviews for mainstream America shows that don't even know about rocafella.

that's wassup for wherever you are.

I'm just telling you what ive seen. and I'm not saying they were running chit, but dudes were coppin up. and you'd see more of their chit than Kanye's stuff.

Ive never seen ANYBODY wanting to dress like "Rocafella". And you're talking about poppin as in popular, thats not what i was sayin.

And when you talking "dressing like" you talking about Dipset and Dipset only. Tbh i dont even count Dipset as "Rocafella". It was just a business move. Now Rocafella had their symbol on Dipset albums, thats all. Dipset was around before tho. Its like counting ODB as Rocafella.

Its pointless to go back & forth about this tho becuz you'll always have your opinion & i'll have mine. You probably was a hardcore fan & have some memories attached to that era so therefor its bigger to you. But we'll just have to agree to disagree.
