How a baby or child can identify as a different gender?
Now nothing against the transgendered, nor am I caping for them, but modern science allows you to become the person you are most comfortable, so shouldn't that be something you decide after you hit puberty?
How can we allow a kid, who we won't let have other major decisions and don't know the real reasons there are makes and females in the world (i.e. the birds and the bees) to be able to say "Oh, I'm a different gender now," and it's not a just jokes or pretend?
Who's decision is it really? The child's? The parents who really wanted their child to come out different? Some psychologist trying to make a quick buck by overanalyzing a game of dressup?
My main thing is that children should be able to grow up and decide for themselves after a full slate of experiences before they can even consider reassaigning their gender. I don't know if I'm ranting or not, but this just has me
. Let me know what you think.
