I use Shea Moisture beard cleaner and conditioner. Comes in a green container.
Also have a beard lotion in a small pump bottle.

when I was a teenager, magician castor oil (may or may not have helped, but I have a full beard when my dad and grandfather's couldn't grow one) when I grow my beard out I just use beard oil to moisturize it.

I would never buy a product thats marketed specifically for beards.
