Yeah, this is true. Shyt gets real complicated over there. It's kind of like how an albino person technically doesn't have the same type of hair color gene as a European.
Remember that humans are constantly adapting and the only reason they look that that is because the phenotype best suit their island environment, technically they're just as Asian as a South East Asian. Another reason why all this race bullshyt is meaningless, just used to divide us.
