REP!
You get it!
Most men don’t give women that grace.
We are responsible for our decisions, but you are absolutely correct— when you are young and naive you don’t know the weight of your decisions and their consequences.
That’s why I said the problem is a loooooot of girls are thrown into the world by parents who don’t give them real guidance to navigate men/the world. And when they fall for game/lies everyone acts like they should’ve known better.
You have to get in your daughter’s head and school her before the world gets to her first.
It’s tough. Just got back from a party and it’s hard seeing one younger (distant) relative with a kid and the other one knowing straight up that she won’t put herself in the same situation. But the former one…dad isn’t in the picture and I don’t know if mom let the uncles have these serious talks with her. The second one— dad is her whole world and plenty of uncles have had the talk with her. That male presence makes such a huge difference.
