Im from an era where it wasnt about the star it was about the man - Nas
Illmatic has been a gift and a curse for nas. i mean look at this video, he wants to do the whole LIG for his performance and someone said i wanna request Illmatic. it seems like he loves this album but people are still stuck on the past. it's sad and i feel for nas cause he's like i got this new album and it's good but ya'll still want Illmatic.

it makes it really hard for older artists when they can't break in their new songs because their fans are stuck in the past and never want anything new from them..... LIG is ill and NaS should be able to represent the brilliance of this project and let it shine.... .. ... .. ... .. ... well, real NaS fans like me still bumping LIG and still representing the totality that is NaS from illmatic to LIG and EVERYTHING in between....
