Brooklyn!!!!!
1. I've had my car for 6 weeks, and had to get my tire fixed TWICE already, because coli brehs forgot to tell me how raggedy the streets are:francis: I got it fixed for free the 2nd time tho, because I went to the same guy who just put my new tire on literally 2 weeks ago:blessed:

2. Lived in NY all my life, and I've seen more accidents here than I have up there. Cars upside down, cars in stores, cars in houses cars in TREES. What is the issue?

3. I thought ATL yts were a little more forward thinking than the deep south yts but :unimpressed: I've been at housing in NY for years, all my coworkers and supervisors were black and latino, and I'm not used to working with their kind. I had to gather 2 coworkers so far and let them know they think it's gon be one way, but this gon go the other way:ufdup: They wont even look at me in the office anymore:mjlol:

4. People go out EVERY. SINGLE. DAY here. I've made a few acquaintances so far, and every day it "what's the vibe tonight" . Ya'll dont sleep?:gucci: I'm :flabbynsick: and need at least 3 business days between turn ups to recover.

5. The debauchery is shameless here :picard: I've been invited to a "lounge" to get some food and drinks. I google the place and its a swingers club. Ya'll just casually invite people to swingers clubs?

6. nikkas LOVE Hookah.

All that aside, I actually like it here. Love the space. Loving where I live. The only thing I miss about NY so far is the diversity of the food. If I get invited to one more damn seafood boil or wing spot:why:

I'll update in a year.

:mjlol: Welcome to Atlanta.

  1. What kind of food do you like?
  2. I think there's so many accidents because the roads have no kind of order. There was no kind of city planning put into the city's origin, so everything is just haphazardly laid out. So many roads without designated left turn lanes. So many streets you have to make that turn or you'll add 10 minutes onto your commute instantly since it's not a grid.

Ummmm....an OG transplant warned you years ago about this.:russ:

"welcome to Atlanta, where the players play, and the parties dont stop til 8 in the morning ":blessed:

But for real, welcome, breh. you'll eventually migrate to the suburbs like everyone else. Fulton is a sht show, where the public money only goes to the Northern Section. Roads in Cobb and Clayton are well maintained tho:mjpls:

As for driving, just wait until you get a half inch of snow. You'll be seeing crazy stuff like busses flying off bridges and cars flying into office buildings like something off of mission impossible:snoop:

I've actually had some great Thai, Mexican, and Japanese food. I had some bomb rasta pasta last week. Just seems like most people just go out for seafood boils and wings. I've been put on to a few African spots recently, so I'm going to check them out soon.
