i liked his style of spittin' the most 98' to 00' but those 1st 2 albums were a mess aside from a few songs. i could take a few songs from both albums and make maybe a 10 track album

come home with me was cam's moment but all that simplistic rhymin' from him was annoyin' to me (bout to listen to this album next)

and purple haze from what i remember was just an od of come home with me just even more sugary than come home with me. least come home with me still had some edge to it

i don't know, aside from charisma and persona, i really don't see how nikkas really ride for cam like that

He's got his questionable shyt, but when he finds it, it's a home run.

His biggest handicap is his beat selection. He needs a mixtape or two with Blaze. I guarantee you'll reconsider.

i'mma keep it all the real, cam'ron real hit and miss with me. i got a couple songs by him that i like to listen to and he might be better than most of the cats today (which ain't sayin' much because their music ain't shyt to begin with) but goin' down memory has reminded me just what i thought along of his music, a lot of misses with only a few hits (and i don't mean hits like singles, i just mean good or great shyt)

yeah, cam just seems like he gets lazy and instead of actually seein' a whole album through he just plays around and a lot of times (esp on them 1st 2 albums) the production was weak for the most part

the dipset era cam is run by soul sped up beats and his larger than life persona but that's when he really just used his image as a crutch to me

i don't consider him 1 of the best or anyone of that magnitude at all

ma$e was a far better rapper than cam and i know many would argue against that because they don't like how "shiny suit" ma$e with but gimmie that harlem world album over ANY of cam'ron's shyt all day, everyday

and for the record, i think 98' to 00' was the cam at his peak as far as rappin' goes when he was focused here and there on those 1st 2 albums but both those albums still ain't shyt really

Come Home With Me and Purple Haze will always get burn from me. Love those albums. Have heard very little of SDE, and his debut (for me at least) hasn't aged well. It had some alright songs, but it also doesn't help that I had the edited version cause my grandma bought it for me at Wal-Mart back then
