This shyt is trash as hell

i remember it being bad, but damn this shyt is worse than i remember.

and you had Ye fans who really defended this album:hhh:

i remember my senior year nikkas defended this and i looked at them like:scust:

been years since i listened to it, and ye released that other bad LP in 2018 "Im bipolar..." whatever the hell it was and i forgot about this.

But coming back to it and damn this might be his worst still.

black skinhead is one of the few if not the only decent song.

I hear you. I haven't heard it in a while but I remember loving it.

Blood on the Leaves is complete perfection.

Send it up with King Louie was perfect.

The no art CD was perfect.

I may revisit it soon. I liked it alot.

best album of 2013

I felt so as well.

Way left field for any hip hop artist. Especially at his level. This is the album where I really started paying attention to him.

He literally knows great music, fashion and art.

I hope he comes out way stronger through his current divorce. It must be a challenge.

I hope great music comes out of it.

HUGE Kanye fan but hated this album, Yeezus was the benchmark that he had went off the deep end.

Only songs I liked. Guilt Trip, Black skinhead, New Slaves, Hold My Liquor

Reppin
NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
Since the tight jeans they never liked you
Pink-ass Polos with a fukking backpack
But everybody know you brought real rap back

But watch who you bring home
They see a black man with a white woman
At the top floor they gone come to kill King Kong

The lyrics were typical Ye, but those beats were so trash....Guilt Trip was horrendous, this was an example of trying too hard to be avant garde.

All those songs you mentioned plus to me Blood on the leaves (Nina Simone sample
:ohlawd:)

And send it up.

That's at least 6 very high quality songs. I could probably pick more.

Even 6 great songs on an album is alot!

I Am A God beat was hard as fukk but the lyrics were beyond trash

Beat had you feeling like you could bench press an SUV but Ye talking about "where's the waiter with my damn croissants" :beli:

shyt I had the beli face throughout :beli:

Also sampling Strange Fruit and not spitting real shyt about the struggle had me mad. Screaming about thots. Leave that sample alone :beli:
