This and TOS were dope, people were just done with 50.
I just think Interscope couldn't do business with him anymore.
50 had the same management as Eminem and he sold more so it's not like they didn't wanna spend more money to promote him I just think 50 got too business savvy for their liking and so they let him go to get a better deal elsewhere.
The music business as a whole stopped selling physical copies so it's not like 50 was the only one with dwindling hard sales. In 2008 it was celebrated to just go 1x platinum when 10 years prior that would be considered a failure. The music business changed not the fans.
I haven't brought an album in nearly 15 years but if he came to London like he did last year I was first in line. Whether people choose to consume music for free or not is besides the point because everyone listens to his music check Spotify.
