The last 10 years anytime a team in the regular season over performs in the eyes of some fans and doesn’t win the chip people start comparing them to the 2015 Hawks. We saw this a lot during the regular season when the Cavs this year were running through the league people were comparing them to this hawks team.

When they finally lost in the playoffs we saw meme after meme with this comparison.

Prior to the hawks what was seen as the “fraud” team?

Those late 90s Heat teams with Zo and Hardaway that always crashed out in the 1st round were one of the biggest fraud teams in NBA history.They won 50-60 games in the reg season and were getting forever torched by 8 seeded teams...

Wade saved that franchise from an eternal choking label.

No one expected that team to do shyt.

There was a debate about this when Teague said the team would've beaten OKC.

They beat a 38 win team led by Brook Lopez and a 33 year old Joe Johnson in the first round.

Took them 6 games to beat a Wiz team that only had Wall for 3 of them

Then got swept by a Cavs team with no Love and Ky for only 2 games.

No one saw a team led by Paul Millsap and Al Horford as a threat.

Those Derrick Rose lead Bulls teams were fake/frauds to me bc outside of Rose they had no other guy. Not enough shooting.
