Before the rise of podcasts and social media, were most squares completely unaware?

Were most squares unaware of how many women were moving?

I've heard some OGs on here say that way more men are hip to the game with the rise of social media and podcasts over the last 10-15 years. Before that were most squares completely oblivious?

You even got cac psychologists breaking down the game.

I would say yes. You used to have to have lady friends/female family members and watched how they moved, have an OG show you the game, or deal with enough women to learn by trial and error.

Now women been snitching on themselves for the last 17 years :mjlol:

Yeah seems like you had to have a dad and/or older brother who wasn't a simp himself. Also I noticed that starting with my generation (late millenials early 90s) it seems our mothers didn't raise us to be simps like prior generations. They probably peeped how a lot of younger women were moving.

Women really are dumb to be saying this stuff online, and that cac psychologist is a literal psycho! He has that dead stare that sociopaths have. No joke.

But you know what, it is what it is.

There are a lot of women who received bare minimum treatment, only got calls/texts at 2am, only experienced “Netflix and Chill” 🫠 who never ever knew that all of that meant that they are nothing but a quick nut to men.

Now they know some game as well 🤷🏾‍♀️

I guess everyone has a fighting chance now.

I think the average woman was way more hip to the game until recently. Deep down most of those women accepting the bare minimum knew the chances of it turning into anything more were slim.

Most squares might have been unaware of female nature but the internet/social media and inequality has legitimately changed the dynamic between women and men.

Even things like lower church attendance and sex work being normalized changed the game, any breh saying "it's always been like this" is being obtuse.

Hell and to your point in the modern era things have even changed drastically since Covid (2020) to now. Even the early days of dating apps (2013) to now. Instagram (which started as a simple photo sharing app in 2012/2013) to 2015/2016 when they introduced stories and longer video clips then reels.

I remember dating pre social media and women were different. Different mindset. I agree anybody claiming things are the same as back then are being dense or really wasn’t outside between the two eras.

Men and women have always been narcissistic but social media introduced a level of narcissism, selfishness, instant access, shortened attention spans that humans aren’t accustomed to dealing with, especially in dating.
