yes, i've heard martin referred to as one once before. that's why i'm really surprised by the conversations on here considering what i've already heard discussed/overheard in my lifetime. not like i'm old or anything, it's just the way people talk around here when it comes to black subjects, the attitude.

The coli is a perfect example of why we could never have a Malcolm or Martin today

It's not that we don't have potential leaders today who are similar to them......it's that black people nowadays wouldn't receive them the same way how they did decades ago, in part because we live in an overly-critical society today

It's way too easy nowadays to get caught up in some low-level fukkery/have some minor thing exposed on a wide scale from your past......and for the reaction to it to be blown way out of proportion to the point where that one small thing suddenly overshadows every other great thing you ever did. Look at how many people on here are quick to call Obama a c00n, just because he can't be president and Khalid Abdul Muhammad at the same time like how they want

No matter what Malcolm did in his greatest years, all it would take is some nikka 'exposing' how he used to mess with pawgs or rock a conk back in the day, for nikkas to be like "this who y'all stan? :mjlol: ", and people would throw him in the bushes
