Ima be real, born and bred nyc’ers know how to use little loop holes when you broke and wanna date. Ppl underestimate how many cheap things they can do in this big ass city.
Been broke for a quick min compared to my life a few years ago ( hustling out of it a bit while my bros company takes off) and I’ve dated pretty much only professional women. When funds are low , your game and mouthpiece gotta be excellent.
Now eventually, lack of funds will catch up to you, but i refuse to be miserable and broken by this city .

Chicks are worse, chick move to nyc from college and be sleeping in the living room or couch of a sorority sister.
Very few people in nyc have their own place. Unless they leave in the Bronx, Harlem or Jersey City. Rent is cheapest in those areas. But the cost of living in Brooklyn has risen to the nearly the same level as Manhattan. Queens isn’t far behind.
