I did get a good taste of the 90s as a teen. Things were looking up, people seems more happier and connected before the internet and cellphones. I feel like our People and Culture Peak in the 90s as far as admiration and respect.

The earlier generations have life experience that they're able to use as points of reference to compare to what came after. It's not an exact science, someone born in the 60s who was sheltered isn't likely to have more common sense than someone who was out in the mix in the 90s.

But generally, all things being equal...more information, more travel, more education, more experience = a better appreciation for things.



Which is where family comes in. Shared experiences, shared info, shared wisdom = you get to make better, smarter moves, make "better" mistakes to learn from...instead of just repeating the ones that came before.


Find your blind spots, put aside your ego and fill them with those who are worthwhile.

Objectively, I think Gen X was the dopest and probably the last generation to have had normal things be attainable without going into stupid debt for them. But as a music head, they did their thing across damn near every genre. I think they had to deal with some fukked up shyt during their childhoods, but they got to live life paced ahead of most of the fukked up events that are fukking up the world for millennials and younger.

80s in general. I agree, 84 baby here. Not just saying it because I was born in that time, but for the reason you listed; we grew up in both an analog and a digital world. No one else can straddle that line but us. We're not young, but we're not old. We can talk to everyone. We got the edge and hardness of boomers and gen X, without going overboard on PC shyt, but we also get how society is trying to transition (no pun) and know how navigate that world better, and we can be as digitally savvy as the younger generations without being overly effected by it... sometimes...

and we will also be young enough to toy with the AI/Quantum era. no others can say this. it's pretty special when you think about it.

Its to early to tell but 89-92 is GOAT. Its the peak of echo boomers. I'd say its the equivalent of the GI generation that stormed the beaches of normandy.

Gen alpha, beta and omega is our pedigree.

By 2030 the world will most likely revolve around this cohort, who will be turning 40, they will be the biggest generation alive and at the peak of their lives. And if history repeats itself they will be the next hero generation.
