I imagine its 1/100000th as bad as losing a regular job, where million of other people do what you do, and you're paid an average amount for it.

You're right. NHL you have a shot to play in other leagues. Europe pays well. NBA, same thing. Soccer, same. But NFL? If you didn't graduate, you actually have to think about going back to school. If you did graduate you gotta dust off that Psych degree and apply to Home Depot. It is demoralizing for those who didn't take advantage of the free education/those who didn't save their money.

I actually feel bad for cuts, I don't feel bad for players who get released in any other sport.

somewhere between a pair of D cup tiddies
Getting cut after completely balling out ala Kasen Williams, has got to be the worst.
When you say you won't go back to the PS and ball lights out being a clear cut favorite, Kearse is traded opening up a spot, and then still get cut :picard:

I remember this one lineman did an interview a few years ago and he was talking about how the nfl just creates a legion of pill heads every single year...

Players come in and they popping painkillers every other day to make it through training camp

They get addicted to them

They get cut and loose access to them

Congratulations you are now addicted to pills at age 23 with no real future outside of football...have fun
