@mbewane how'd you end up following the NBA? :lupe:

I actually lived from 83-88 in New Rochelle, NY, and my pops recorded TONS of Knicks games...flash forward a couple years and no we're back living in Bangui, Central African Republic, and we had a small ghetto half-court at home...so I pick up bball, my older cousin is playing too, and we manage to find ball tapes here and there (remember, this is CAR, well before the internet...We were :blessed:to see a game every month...We'd watch them over and over :mjlol:)...and around that time I discover my Pops' stash of games that he brought back to CAR...saw all those Dave Corzine-Bill Cartwright matchups :whoo::dead:...Gerald Wilkins, Kenny Walker, Trent Tucker and them :dead:I really started following during the 92 Playoffs, then come the 93 playoffs and The Dunk, it was a wrap:ahh:

A true Knicks fan, brehs. :mjcry:

He endured the pre-Ewing years.
Watched the GOAT Bernard King years before he got hurt.
Saw the rise in the early 1990s.
The rivalry with the Bulls and Pacers.

People in the streets used to break out into random "Go New York, Go New York, Go!" chants

:wow:

:to:That is NOT THE LIFE.....I literally thought the game started at 2AM here but it was 3AM. I tried to stay awake but fell asleep right before tipoff. Then my alarm goes off (for work) at 7AM and I refresh my PC to see a screenshot of Steph Curry in a gray hat. :heh:

Aside from sports EU>US if we're talking about living. :ahh:

Haha humble brag swag. I lived in Korea for a year, and Italy for two and half. I know the struggle.
