Latinos only get together during funerals and weddings but man ya'll black people be organized as hell with t-shirts and huge bbqs ya'll travel and shyt i see that shyt on tv and stuff and be

funny thing is my first job out of college was at a public relations firm (black owned) and one of my accounts was the family reunion institute and they would have annual conventions in pittsburgh so i flew out there to attend ....again all blacks and they had workshops how to organize family reunions, dna testing workshops, activities to incorporate.....

i wrote a release on this lady in south carolina with roots in bk and how she used dna testing for her reunion...got it published too


anyway ya'll have that on lock wish my bum ass family had reunions i feel so isolated

Yeah i notice that about black Americans. They take family reunions seriously. They'll travel from one coast to the other for that sh!t and they have fun doing it too. they be having group tshirts and shyt.

Caribbean blacks dont really do that. We only get together for kids parties and other holidays

The reunions for both sides of my fam used to be the shyt when I was younger, now they shyt is status, it's always local, we don't travel no more, and nowhere near as many people show up. Me and one of my cousins has a standing tradition for family reunions, since we were like 12 she's always bought one of her female cousins from her father's side for me to get at. I would like to see it be how it used to be when my grandparents were still alive though

honestly i only know/met like 5 mexicans in my life like ive seen mexicans but to actually meet/know be cool with hardly none few and far between so i wouldnt know.....
