I hope that link works but the story goes like this: Eartha is asked why she married a white man in 1960. Her reply was that Sidney and Harry didn't want to be seen with a Black woman in public. In 1960, both men were married to Black women. I don't have X , but most of the searches take you there. It is also stated in her autobiography.

Technically true, but we all know who she talking bout. She's gonna slip up one of these days.
