Interesting set of videos I ran across last night.
Dr. King said:First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."
Shallow understanding from people of goodwill is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection."
Who did you vote for in the last 2 presidential election? Watch this 'moderate' run from this question.No. Politics and our political system is a lot more nuanced than that.
I'd consider myself a moderate.
Why would I not take the small victory on Gun Reform, for example, or Obamacare, as opposed to holding out for a gun ban or universal healthcare?
I'm glad you think I'm presidential material.Who did you vote for in the last 2 presidential election? Watch this 'moderate' run from this question.
Haven't watched the video, but the obvious thought it that MLK Jr. spoke on this during the civil rights movement. Google MLK and "white moderate".

I don't really care for this guy's videos. He tends to over simplify and 'both sides' a lot. With that said, I've never seen a position from him I didn't agree with.
Both the political parties are trash, no disagreements there. These videos do more harm then good when they lump Democrats and Republicans together as two heads of the same coin though. We don't need more people falling into the cliche, above-it-all 'both sides' attitude. The only thing worse than a centrist is a 'both sides' guy.I know you all hate the #bothsides stuff (Trump ruins everything) but it really is both sides. One side is just worst. The Democrats are like molded bread with a few roaches dead in the loaf. The Republicans are like if you fished that same loaf of bread out of the Ghanges river and applied a spread made from the secretions of a Louisiana whore house.
Yes they are both terrible but one is objectively worse and would likely kill you. So I don't think it's wrong to say #bothsides as long as you understand the context.
