He was losing the ball after the half and wanted to get in field goal range but was stuck at 3rd down. A punt wouldn't have made much of a difference, and any time-wasting play like a run or a checkdown wouldn't have mattered much because Denver had timeouts. In what way was that a bad decision to throw the ball down the field :dahell:

What's wrong with punting the ball? Moncrief had a little seperation on Roby but luck would've had to put some air under it and lead moncrief down the field. Instead he tried bulleting it in and didn't really allow his receiver to make a play. You wouldn't see a guy like Rodgers or Brady make that throw. No slight tho, as I said luck played quite well otherwise.

Fair enough.

I look forward to him putting his punting prowess on display this Sunday :ahh:

For the record, I like Luck a lot. I echo everything Beli said. The kid has IT. He does need to work on taking care of the ball, tho, and people should stop giving him a pass for it.
At least u showed him the respect je deserves. I realize his brain farts are ample, but he's asked to carry the load. Russell Wilson haa the luxury of a great rb, and he rarely sees the kind of coverages Luck sees. Now some of that has to do w/ Wilson running himself. I do believe things would be a lot easier in the pass gm for Luck if he actually ran more and didn't just sit in the pocket till he gets hit. The rest of the qbs he's compared to for their lack of turnovers are all vets.
