shyt has always been racist. The difference is that after the civil rights act passed, whites at least put on a good game face of tolerance. And just barely that. That is why we hear, “Well this is the most racist climate I’ve seen in my lifetime.” No, they are just experiencing the breakdown of tolerance.

White conservative racism = Believes black people are inferior, will openly call you the N-word and demean you in other ways

White liberal racism = Believes black people are inferior, will treat you like a helpless child that's incapable of succeeding without their 'assistance' and taking all of the credit
