They could have easily tore his ass apart with this when he was just another single digit candidate during the Summer of Trump but they waited until he was at the top of the mountain. That wake up call. :banderas:

Politico changed Their headline they were wrong Carson spoke to somebody about West Point and not having to pay for tuition if he were to serve in the military

Sloppy wording on Carson's part since West point doesn't offer scholarships

Seems like he misinterpreted the offers from a recruiter and he never actually applied

There was no need for him to lie about that he became a brain surgeon

But he's gotta be on point since the media goes extra hard on republicans

Trump is the only guy who can take on the media and Hillary
The way you're trying to save Carson here is the same as when Hillary and her sniper fire in Bosnia ducktales were written off as attacks by the right.

Both of these situations are legitimate questions of character.

i honestly don't get the big deal about this. in his book he said he only had enough money to apply to one school, so that means yale was the only school he applied to (even though i don't think the service academies have an application fee). if he said he was offered a scholarship (or something similar since it's free and getting in is the scholarship) at some dinner who is to say that's not true. he could have easily gotten into one of the service academy with his academic background.

don't even know why he mentioned this in the first place anyway because let's say it's on record that you were offered admission (or told that it would be a cake walk for you). is the point of the story that you felt you were better than the service academy because the ivy league was an option for you? that would be the truth but folks don't want to hear that.

:russ: Trump dismantled the entire old school republican party.

Mitt Rommey out here thinking of joining libertarians.
