Bengals kept Marvin Lewis for 16 years, hired a black DC last year, hired Hue Jackson immediately after he got fired from Cleveland, were the only team that interviewed Vance Joseph and Hue for HC. Bieniemy is probably 2nd on their list. They are the last team that should be called out for not hiring black coaches.

That said, I do prefer Bieniemy over Taylor, but Taylor is the trendy hire right now. He comes from McVay, had a big part in developing Goff, can probably help fix the offensive line that is currently terrible and his family apparently loves Cincinnati. Also, if they're going with Taylor, the Bengals will probably be considering a QB in the draft.

This. Bengals are the team that give nikkas a chance more than anybody in the league. Coaches and players. Only team that would’ve put up with nikkas like Chris Henry, Pac-Man, Odell Thurman, etc for as long as they did.
