I raise an eyebrow anytime a white person talks about divesting away from "Identity Politics"
I can understand that coddling certain white people so that they don't feel bad about the ills that the American White Male has inflicted on these lands and the world is necessary to win elections that benefit essentially everyone that's not a White Christian Male but I don't like it.

white people are the original snowflakes.... if you say anything bad about any white person then to them you are saying all white people are bad... but if white people say something bad about any non-white person then they are just telling the truth.... they will suffer no criticism while lecturing you about not accepting criticism.... benjamin dixon was right on in this podcast....
Surprised you would post Ben. I agree even though I'm sure some of the folks (that says what he says they do) do so due to the weaponization of it to shield themselves from criticism of shytty policy and that's their main beef (from some on the left). The others who scoff at it are a minority and its simply their whiteness showing. The stuff coming from conservatives he basically handled appropriately in this episode. No. Folks despise the weaponization of it cuz that's the type of stuff that annoys people, especially people that don't pay too much attention. Such as someone shilling for a non white candidate's shyttiness on policy by smearing let's say a white candidate whos better on policy as being "just another white male." That's what the Democratic party has done at times as it uses token POC and/or LGBT folks to cover them on bad policy.
