America's richest cities are all falling apart. NYC's trains on a daily basis. LAs potholes and shytty traffic bc there's no transit. The highways in ATL that literally caught on fire last year. SF's unaffordability. It's a shytshow

America needs a permanant WPA program dedicated to infrastructure upgrading and maintenance would address many of the issues in our cities.
NYC's subway problems has been at least 50 years in the making...good luck with that.

NYC subway problems are almost entirely due to the mafia that is the MTA union...Most corrupt union in the country...

We been known the system is crumbling for damn near 50 years now, the city and state has been granting the MTA funding to fix the problems...The problems never get fixed because all they do is slap a bandaid on them...

Atleast once a week when i use to ride the 7 there was a delay due to "signal problems"...Its obvious these thieves been putting bandaids on the problem instead of fixing it on purpose to create more OT opportunities...Then cry about funding, get it and then slap another bandaid on the problem...Rinse and repeat and that's how uncle Guido with his GED has a 6 figure job working OT...

They got numerous construction projects that were supposed to be done a decade ago still going...What exactly is uncle Guido doing working OT?

And here the state goes again granting these thieves more money...:beli:

Hate to say it, but there is a such thing as overpopulation. No matter how good the infrastructure, too many people living in close proximity will destroy it.

Berlin's infrastructure is amazing though. most people take bicycles or subways/trams/etc. so there's not much traffic. parks and green space everywhere. and it's widespread city with low rise buildings. there really isn't a central area...just a bunch of hubs.

Idk, you gotta ask Berliners that question. Remember Berlin is on the eastern front. And gets cold there too. Realllllly cold
