Bugatti partnered with French artist Bernar Venet to create the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport art car. Venet is known for art pieces that have been displayed at the biggest and best modern art museums in the world like the Guggenheim and Museum of Modern Art in New York City, Paris Centre Pompidou, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles. French dignitaries and politicians like Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy have inaugurated and commissioned his work. He is actually one of just five modern artists to have been featured at the celebrated Chateau de Versailles in France. But what’s different with his latest work with Bugatti is that this project can transport itself unlike his sculptures and canvasses.

Venet took a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, the convertible version of Bugatti Veyron, which is already an impressive model with its 1000hp output from a quad-turbocharged, 8.0-liter W-16 engine, a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and all-wheel drive. This car is already priced at around $2 million in its original state without any upgrades.

During Venet’s time as an artist, he has shown an interest in representing math and science in art. So the Bugatti’s exterior and interior have been covered with mathematical symbols and equations. Bugatti said that the equation determines the power output of the Veyron. The curvy hypercar got a color scheme of caramel brown over deep brown. It also gets two tone wheels–reddish brown up front, deep brown out back. Its interior uses the same two-tone scheme. It has a deep brown dashboard that contrasts with the caramel transmission tunnel and seats.
