He just lost the popular vote unfortunately.
unfortunately is correct. the populous dont pay attention ENOUGH. we have known this for decades. And the establishment on either side loves that very fact. if they dont pay much attention. then we can say anything and they will believe it. And when we get there we dont have to even attempt to do anything we said we were going to attempt to do. because they wont pay much attention, until the effects kick in and start harming them. wash, rinse, repeat. Did i think bernie was "our" saviour? heck no. i'm black. and he's a white guy. I aint no fool. But do i think he was a heck of a lot better option than Hillary? Heck Yeah.
Do i think voting for hilary is the equivalent of voting for trump if you're a black person? YEP.
Did i think bernie was going to do on his own what he was talking about on the campaign trail? NO. That's impossible.
But i did believe he would have TRIED to get congress to do what he said he heard the people asking/crying for? YEP
And at the end of the day, thats all you can ask for the way our system is setup. have your rep, represent you. that never is a guarantee for all of your policies/ideas/needs/desires/wants will get done.
Do i think bernie as president even with an establishment congress would set a tone for a near future congress? YUP.
The sheeple, can't see the future to far down the line. most of them see a few days ahead. some people can see years ahead. But once bernie gets in. They will then see a pathway for more honest joe/jane politicians just like him coming into congress/local areas as well. he would make people believe that its POSSIBLE to not be a crooked/lying politician. right now not you, nor I believed that. we all ASSUME 'they must be a little crooked and lie to get voted in." we actually laugh at people who go the honest route because we know they're going to lose .since "thats how the game is played."
