The first quote you’ve included doesn’t make sense for this thread. I didn’t post that. And I’m not a Republican. I can dislike a candidate and speak out about the disconnect between those pushing the wrong candidates, further distancing their base. Not many young people are excited about Biden. While he may not be as hated as Hillary, besides older Democrats and those desperate to get Trump out, many feel lukewarm about him. He doesn’t encourage the excitement and change that Trump brought for his base, or that Obama brought for the Democrat base—especially for the younger generation. The type of excitement that encouraged people who normally stay in the house to come out and vote. The type of inspiration that had people waiting in lines for hours to vote. Both Obama and Trump ran on change, i.e Trump’s no filter racist ignorance was different and inspired wm who were sick of being politically correct. Even Hilliary offered a little something as hated as she was because she’s a woman. But Biden? Another incoherent old wm, who is more of a centrist then he is liberal. He doesn’t have a ground breaking platform. At best, we can hope that there are enough people desperate to get rid of Trump and go to the voting booths to vote for Biden. But I see the same thing happening with this election as what happened with Bush. Trump will be a two term president.
