This is back in 2003!

This is leadership... calling the f*ckboys out publicly to their faces. Gave Greenspan that WORK and you could tell Alan was shook and wanted no problems.

And the Coli Economists take yet another L at the 2:05 mark... we tried to warn you about believing those Fed talking points!

How could you not want this man to be president?

I still don't see how lmost liberals can't see how the Fed is the prime catalyst for Corporatism in this country. It doesn't take much to understand how. It's just an issue that simply isn't up for debate in the liberal mainstream for some reason.

I'll give Sanders credit for taking them on in this instance. Other notable liberals on the issue are Alan Grayson and Dennis Kucinich.

But he was the senator leading the way to block the audit the fed bill. If you think the Fed shouldn't be audited then you're retarded.

The Good Doctor (Paul) been killing Greenspan for decades, but you know, he's a republican. :manny:

Ron Paul has always spit hot fiyah when it comes to the economy, but unfortunately he's not a serious presidential candidate. Bernie is.

They feel it's "quasi-public" status keeps it outside the reach of typical politics... but unfortunately the Fed are gangsters like everyone else in government. They are bought and sold just like everyone else.

He does the same thing in 1998. Here they are talking about the Long Term Capital Management bailout and risky Wall Street bets:

It seems the farther you go back on Bernie the more hair he gets :russ: but the Ether stays the same :banderas:

Who Bernie?

Interesting... :jbhmm:

That would definitely require some investigation :jbhmm:

Why wasn't he a serious candidate? Not speaking of you personally but when folks use to tell me that in 2008 and 2012, they would be forced to admit that it was because he didn't support either welfare or warfare. Sadly, the 2 things that are destroying this nations economy is usually the basis for what people vote for. Seems like limited government this day and age will not win you any friends (or votes)

He didn't necessarily block it, but he made a bill that Ron Paul drafted essentially worthless regarding full transparency from the fed when it reached the senate.
