Does this leave you torn in your beliefs? The libertarian for seeking such a redress is to go through the courts and not the legislative branch. I've seen a lot of libertarians conveniently argue that the only people that deserved reparations were the actual slaves themselves.

Not at all, I still believe(economically) that a competitive equilibrium leads to a social optimum.
Reparations, is(in my belief) the only way to offset the AADOS competitive disadvantage.

Give us reparations and end all subsidies and majority of entitlement programs

The US presidential election is all about which candidate can win the most swing states as blue and red states rarely flips (although florida and texas are in play in 2020)

My original assertion was that reparations needs the push/commitment socialism has received, and it has a real opportunity this cycle.
The incremental steps you are in favor of started as ideas being pushed, no different from the idea(reparations) you are dismissing now.
Just say your an agent and you will stop stop at nothing to keep reparations out of the discussion/off the table.
