He's built one of the largest grassroot campaigns in our lifetime. He's single handely pushed the overton window to the left. No one was talking about medicare for all and a Green New Deal 8 years ago. He did all this despite the smears and attacks from the DNC and corporate media. He may not be our presumptive nominee but him or his ideas arent going any where.
Furthermore, our ideals will live on while the decrepit ideals of the neo liberal establishment will wither with the passage of time. We are entering a new world now. And for better or worse monumental change is coming. Neoliberalism is on its way out. Either we replace it with progressive policies or it will be quicly hijacked by fascists and authoritarians.
Americans as a collective may not be ready for this change and may want to return to normal. That normal is long gone. All that exists before us is a cascading and never ending set of new normals. And as our world rapidly changes it will become increasingly apparent that radical action is necessary for our survival.
First and foremost, I don’t think you know what a neoliberal actually is. I can’t think of any true neoliberals of significance currently.
