If you can watch it in Japanese with subs. The voice acting (particularly Gatts voice) is way better in Japanese

Yea... its jarring to look at but if youre really a fan of the source material, youll get over it eventually. Goes all the way up to Grunbeld

I fw it but Im a big fan of manga and the movies so yea if you liked one or both go for it. If you havent read the manga and just seen the movies then youll go further into the story and see new things.

Its not as dark as the movies because of side characters like Puck, Shierke, Serpico, and Isidro making it kinda funny at times so dont go in expecting 24/7 bloodshed and gore
