People use proxies everyday, b. IP's aren't 100% validating anymore. Not in anyway negative, but I believe what the OP is saying but I also don't think much of it. Now if offline "relationships/friendships" are jumping off by an alias then I don't think it's fair for someone to be tricked but just general coli interaction it's really not a big deal, imo.It's up to the owners of the site to check the IP logs
If the site owners temporarily ban every IP which has logged into that account for a week, we will be able to see who is missing and who is not
I'd agree about it not being a big deal, someone's identity behind the account shouldn't be an issue unless you plan on making a move anyway. But when you got flop threads like these and subliminal hints thrown around everywhere with no leads it gets annoying really quick. Also to add to the fact that aliases altogether are annoying. You already have anonymity with your original account, what's the point in the 2nd one?
