If you are using Adblock Plus and you still get ads, it probably means that Adblock Plus is allowing some "acceptable" ads through. You need to go to the filter preferences and uncheck the box about letting certain ads display.

Even better, uninstall Adblock Plus and install Adblock Edge. It's the same thing as Adblock Plus except it uses less memory and doesn't let some ads through by default.

What is the best ad blocker for Safari that works? I am starting to think there are none.
