best advice for fixin chipped paint on black cars?

i got a couple of small chipped paint spots on the hood of my altima (most likey from gravel/pebbles hittin my car)...a few of em are down to the primer...i was told this black turtle wax could mask it well enough..

never tried the turtle wax kit (might work )

a cheap fix is getting touch-up paint and going over each paint chip.

if it was me I'd bare metal respray after sanding down and priming
