me and the homie @mobbinfms were talking about these first two verses and got to thinking, what are some of the best verses of all time that have closed out albums?

Edit: I guess we could expand the thread and talk about last songs in general too, because some artists have perfected that craft as well.

Here's number 1 right here :Pshades:

[Verse 2: Prodigy]
Yo, my empire strikes with the strength of poisonous snakes
My entire unit loaded up with snake ns that hire stakes
We pull off a high stakes, great escapes, expand, shift team downstate
Dreams of growing old with my son to live great
Little man I'm plannin' to enhance your mindstate
The rebirth, a na who lived an ill life
The one before me was of an even more trife
My understandin', I'll raise you with precise plannin'
And put you on to the whole game of this planet
But I gotta survive in order to follow through
Plans to live lotto, me and my little kicko
Any man tryin' to stop us, he get wet tho
He couldn't withstand the snake bite, there is no antidote
Don't you put your hands too close and try to approach
I won't snap at you I'm goin' for throats
And when you feel my bite, ya sing high notes
I peeped you from deep and then you got cut close
My formulae: I live life do or die
Stare into the eyes of a deep wiseguy
Prodigy, turnin' ns to protegés
My protegé, I advise ya ass to make way

Make way...for fully-auto gun spray
You're small prey, I'll easily bait and trap game
This man is half mad scientist-half sane
Create a rhyme labyrinth like poisonous cannabis
Here, take a toke of this deadly rare vocalist
Overpower y'all, tiny noise like locusts
Like sunlight thru a magnifying glass I'll focus and burn
A hole straight thru ya brain and leave ya open (Oh shyt!)
And let the venom soak in
You start sweatin' and goin' thru convulsions from dope shyt I writ
Leavin' ns stuck, I let stick
Trapped up in a web of a na that's sick
I'll wrap you up in coc00n, get caught up in the midst
A dangerous, it's risky business fukkin' with this
Contender number one I put you on top of the list
You're the best challenger so far, I'll give you this
But peep this (What?) fatal shots that solar plex
Man Down...now who dares to go next?
Like General Monk Monk orders to chop necks

I send a message to my whole clique to bomb shyt
Atomic, no time for calm shyt
We hyperactive when it’s time to Vietnam it
Ya whole alliance gets singlehandedly bombed-ed
Take heed to the Apostle's Warning
Word up!

Like I never rode in a limo
Like I just dropped flows to a demo
Like it's ninety-two again and
And I got O's in the rental
Back in the stu' again
No prob' living was a whole lot simpler
When you think back, you thought that
You would never make it this far, then you
Take advantage of the luck you handed
Or the talent, you been given
Ain't no, half stepping, ain't no, no slipping
Ain't no different from a block that's hitting
Gotta get it while the getting's good
Gotta strike while the iron's hot, before you stop
Then you gotta bid it, good riddance
Goodbye, this is my second major breakup
My first was, with a pager
With a hooptie, a cookpot, and the 'caine
This one's with the stu, with the stage, with the fortune
Maybe not the fortune, but certainly the fame

:wow:

The D.O.C. on this

"Swinging, singing a brand new rap
On a rhythm concocted by my homie in the back and
If it makes you giggle, it must be kinda funny
But to me it's kinda cool (Tell 'em why), I'm making money
Tripping up the man with the swift hand movement
Proving if you're grooving then it's cool when he be doing it
Taking a second for me to blow your mind
'Cause I'm the diggy diggy D.O.C. and I would've been down wit rock
But I was smart, the D.O. to the C. now on the formula
It's rough, I mean it's funky enough for me
And you can have a listen after that and this and
D-O-N-'T M-O-V-E without permission
From the D.O. to the C., I'm just better than
The normal man and I'll be dumb if a sucker can
Ever compete wit the elite
Much less beat, it's like dancing wit 2 left feet
Never smile when the D.O.C. is in the room
Or I'm a send ya ass to the temple of doom
I got raw when I came to Cali
Now with NWA on the motherfukking grand finale"

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
:sas1:

'Picture this like it's a cinema flick
We in the midst of takin' over this
Half of you crabs don't even notice this
Scope this
We know the risk and STILL take it
We can make it
We've already been the underrated
If I shine, I shine
If I brick, I just brick
If you diss we could take it to the curb like dog shyt
I'm not in it for the gimmicks
Satisfying critics
I just want my own like the Hassidics
Mind on the sidelines
MC's 'Hail Mary!'
But I be in the box kickin' my commentary
Quick to bury MC crews
Who lose in my circumference
And hit 'em with the spit I roll my blunts with
It be 'The Ultimate'....fukk the dumb shyt
We run it half blunted
I'm crazy drunk off the 800....'

Let the real life nikkas hear the truth from me
What would you do if you was me (nikka), against all odds

It’s so hard to escape the gunfire, I wish I could rule it out like an umpire
But it’s an everlasting game and it never cease to exist, only the players change

Nas' last verse on It Ain't Hard to Tell :whew:

"This rhythmatic explosion
Is what your frame of mind has chosen
I'll leave your brain stimulated, nikkas is frozen
Speak with criminal slang, begin like a violin
End like Leviathan, it's deep; well, let me try again
Wisdom be leakin' out my grapefruit, troop
I dominate break loops, givin' mics men-e-strual cycles
Street's disciple, I rock beats that's mega trifle
And groove even smoother than moves by Villanova
You're still a soldier, I'm like Sly Stone in Cobra
Packin' like a Rasta in the weed spot
Vocals will squeeze Glocks
MCs eavesdrop, though they need not to sneak
My poetry's deep, I never fell
Nas' raps should be locked in a cell; it ain't hard to tell"

Those last few lines are some of my favorite, ever.
