Atmosphere's had several different styles throughout their career, so just one album isn't enough to fully represent them as artists. I second the God Loves Ugly mention, and also add in When Life Gives You Lemons... and Lucy Ford. They have one of the most consistent discographies in Hip Hop, so there really isn't much of their material you can go wrong with.
