yeah Megabus is the best option I found so far

amtrak is expensive, greyhound takes a long ass time, china bus has limited departure dates

and the boltbus had a weird website plus limited arrival destinations

May be wise to get a ticket on Megabus at least a back-up plan while they are available, and then keep asking around to try to ride-share or post/check craigslist for rideshare (tolls are $16). A lot of people in DC are heading to Philly at the end of the week to set-up the convention starting next Mon.
